Martha Stoumen Wines grows grapes and makes natural wine in Northern California.

Fueled by apprenticeships in Southern France and Italy, Martha Stoumen relies on California’s natural ability to produce distinct and lovely wines. Martha sought to produce a simple, powerful letterpress business card through the Aesthetic Union that utilized their current logo and gave a subtle nod to the business of wine making.

My solution was to employ the circular container of their logo along with two more circles to acknowledge the shape of their star player, grapes, while remaining abstract and eye-catching with bright colors that create a satisfying overlap in the letterpress process.
